The Brand Story
Fireworks were always a medium
IGNITION
Over a thousand years ago, the Chinese packed gunpowder into bamboo tubes and lit humanity's first imagination of the night sky.
What Ignition does today has never changed in essence — we still use gunpowder to give the world a reason to look up. Only the form of expression has evolved.
In 1999, Zeng Xiaogang founded WanGuang Yuan, bringing Chinese fireworks to the world. Faith in this craft has run through the family's blood ever since.
Ignition was born in Wanzai, Jiangxi — a city carrying a thousand-year heritage of firecracker culture. In 2009, at age 22, founder Zeng Ming returned to take over the family business: in seven years he grew annual revenue from 1 million to 60 million yuan, proving that a traditional industry can unleash new momentum.
But growth was never the end.
The true starting point of Ignition was redefining the industry's core value: we do not sell fireworks — we create unforgettable moments of shine for cities, brands, and every individual.
From the weekly Saturday shows at Wanzai Ancient City to bespoke fireworks for world-famous theme parks; from co-drafting the industry's new national standard to proposing the “Sky Theatre” concept — Ignition is forging a thousand-year craft into a modern grammar of expression.
As long as people still look up at the stars, there will always be a Chinese sea of stars hidden within gunpowder.
